Irrespective of religion, caste and creed, eligible students are admitted to various pedagogy keeping in mind the University admission policy. The college admits only regular students and Bio-Metric system is adopted for attendance.
Once the students are enrolled the college strives at intellectual and spiritual enlightenment in the Student-Teacher, who in turn become the anchors of society empowering the youth to become socially responsible citizens. The college also focus on the all round formation of Student-Teacher.
A candidate shall be eligible for admission to the course leading to the Degree of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) provided: Has undergone, 10+2+3 pattern of study and passed the X and XII Examinations conducted by the respective State Board or CBSE or any other recognized Board of Education / Examination and UG Degree /Examination of the UGC approved Universities in any one of the school subjects offered by the Directorate of School Education at the Secondary / Higher Secondary Education Level.
The B.Ed. course shall be of duration of two academic years, which can be completed in a maximum of three years from the date of admission to the programme.
• There shall be at least two hundred working days each year exclusive of the period of examination and admission.
• The institution shall work for a minimum of thirty six hours in a week (five or six days), during which physical presence in the institution of all the Teacher-Educators and Student-Teacher is necessary to ensure their availability for advice, guidance, dialogue and consultation as and when needed.
• The college works from 9.00 a.m to 4.00 p.m on all working days.
• The minimum attendance of Student-Teacher shall have to be 80% for all course work and practicum, and 90% for school internship.
